Experience

I have taught Grade 10 Math, Functions 11, Advanced Functions 12 (Pre-calculus), Calculus and Vectors and Grade 9 Visual Arts.

Teaching style

I like to support my students by providing them with detailed notes, unit summaries and reviews so they know what is expected of them when it comes time for evaluations. I also like to employ different ways of checking in with my students by having them do daily warm-up activities to check their understanding of previous concepts or working on vertical surfaces in groups. As a Visual Arts teacher, making my material aesthetically pleasing is a standard I set for myself in all of the materials I create.
