About the store
I'm Audrey, a math teacher from Oregon who has a passion for making Algebra rigorous, engaging, and accessible for ALL of your learners. Over the last decade, I have taught 7th-grade math through Pre-Calculus! All classes taught: 7th-grade math, Algebra 1, Algebra 1 Support, Geometry, Algebra 2, Algebra 2 Support, AP Statistics, College Credit Statistics, and College Credit Pre-Calculus. Most of my materials focus on supporting Algebra 1 standards in a way that is scaffolded enough to help reach all learners in your classroom, while never sacrificing the standard of rigor. I pride myself on making thorough notes that strongly prepare your students for future math topics and classes. I am dedicated to providing teachers with resources that will truly help you reach every learner in your classroom. Many of the notes, flowcharts, and activities in my store provide invaluable scaffolding and multiple approaches for students who need it the most, yet allow for rigorous discussion and generalization for students who are ready to be challenged. I strongly believe learning should be structured yet fun, and laughter should be constant.</p> In addition to the math classes I've taught, I've also taught an AVID elective and worked in an AVID demonstration school.

31derful - A Digital Icebreaker & First Day of School Activity for Perseverance

If you're looking for a perfect activity for the first week of school, look no further! 31derful is a game meant to exercise students' perseverance and meant to encourage groupwork norms in a math classroom. This activity also helps to wake up a sleepy "summer brain" by sneakily reviewing integer operations and mental math! Traditionally, the game is played with a deck of cards per pair/group of students. Students pick 25 cards to arrange in a 5x5 grid. The goal is to make each column and each

Having clear expectations is so important for students and makes classroom management much easier since students know what is expected of them at all times. I use magnate tape to post these on the wh

Test or Quiz Retake Form

Do you allow your students to retake tests and/or quizzes? Ensure that students are ready for the retake and that the preparation is a valuable experience by having students fill out a retake request form. Students must think about three ways to improve their understanding of the material and reflect on why the assessment didn't go as planned. Allowing students the opportunity to go back and improve their understanding greatly improves their long-term comprehension, if done correctly (i.e.
