Math Commingles Science

Fractions, Decimals, and Percents Focused on TEKS 6.4(G) in math, but correlates with Science Lab Equipment. The best of both - Math and Science. Students will find equivalent fractions, decimals, and percents in STAAR type questions. Word problems include science information and utilizes good reading, building reading endurance for STAAR.

Based on 6th grade math Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills TEKS 6.2(D). This work sheet has 5 mingles focused on ordering rational numbers and Corpus Christi. Vocabulary included on worksheet - Rational number. Problems deal with jellyfish, temperature and elevation.
