Math Counts

This unit is designed for a level 1 Precalculus class and contains 33 documents. Topics include quadratics in standard and vertex form, stretching, shrinking and shifting functions, determining whether functions are even, odd or neither, performing all operations with functions including composition, and finding inverses. There are 6 instructional powerpoints, 9 warmups, 2 quizzes, 1 unit test, and many practice worksheets and activities.

This folder includes a review on the algebra skills that are necessary for students to master in order to be successful with precalculus content. Some of skills in this unit include factoring, simplifying radicals, rationalizing denominators, simplifying rational expressions, and solving systems of equations.
