Teaching style

My teaching style is all about engagement, exploration, and real-world connections. I believe that students learn best when they are actively involved, so my resources are visually engaging with a strong focus on hands-on and problem-based learning. I also value flexibility and differentiation, so many of my materials include multiple formats—print and digital options, scaffolded support, and challenge extensions—to meet the needs of diverse learners!

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology, but my passion for teaching led me to pursue a Master’s in Education (Secondary Science and Mathematics). I am also an IB Diploma recipient, which has given me a unique perspective on inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and global education standards.

Additional biographical information

Beyond teaching, I’m a fantasy book lover, horror movie fan, and metal music enthusiast. I also design and create home-made cosplays with my young daughter and attend several cosplay conventions a year. Thanks for stopping by and I hope my resources bring excitement and fun to your classroom!
