Teaching style

My teaching style is all about engagement, exploration, and real-world connections. I believe that students learn best when they are actively involved, so my resources are visually engaging with a strong focus on hands-on and problem-based learning. I also value flexibility and differentiation, so many of my materials include multiple formats—print and digital options, scaffolded support, and challenge extensions—to meet the needs of diverse learners!

Awards & shining teacher moments

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology, but my passion for teaching led me to pursue a Master’s in Education (Secondary Science and Mathematics). I am also an IB Diploma recipient, which has given me a unique perspective on inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and global education standards.

Additional biographical information

Beyond teaching, I’m a fantasy book lover, horror movie fan, and metal music enthusiast. I also design and create home-made cosplays with my young daughter and attend several cosplay conventions a year. Thanks for stopping by and I hope my resources bring excitement and fun to your classroom!
