I have 22 years of teaching experience and currently serve as a Math Specialist across three elementary schools. Throughout my career, I have taught 1st grade (2 years), 2nd grade (3 years), 3rd grade (4 years), and 5th grade (12 years), with the majority of my work focused on math instruction. My passion is creating engaging, effective resources that support both teachers and students in building strong mathematical understanding.

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (K–5) from Radford University and a Master’s degree as a Math Specialist from Averett University. I have taught in Virginia throughout my entire career and am highly knowledgeable in the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOLs), allowing me to create targeted, standards-aligned resources you can trust.
