One of my favorite types of "worksheets" is the foldable, because students glue it directly into their math journals, instead of asking "Do we need to keep this?" at the end of the lesson. These are half page notes to be glued or taped into an interactive math journal. Notes for Teachers: I use these notes in my students' interactive math journals. As we discuss what makes a number rational vs. irrational, we fill in the blanks and convert each of the numbers on the rational side to fractions. This is an excellent reference for students to go back and review exactly how to distinguish between rational and irrational numbers.
