Walk Around Activity & Task Cards | Volume & Surface Area Rectangular PrismsWhat is this?Walk Arounds are activities I use a ton in my 7th and 8th grade math classes with different concepts. Simply print out the posters (laminate if desired) and place around the room. Students can start at any poster, or the teacher can assign each student a starting point. Activity instructions: Have students pick one card to start with. (Spread them out amongst the cards so they don’t get bunched up at one.)

I like to hang all of them in my room at the beginning of the year to show the range of topics during back to school night, then take them down and put them back up by unit as the year goes on. Make sure to cover them up if any vocab is on your assessments! TO PRINT: These need to be printed on 11x17 paper unless you want to scale and cut the paper to a different size. I find that 11x17 is the perfect size to keep the words an

This set has 8 warmups with accompanying answer keys. (I am adding to this warmup during the 2017-2018 school year, and will be emailing buyers who purchase it with access to the updated version. The price will go up once the set is complete at the end of the year.) This set of warmups is great for review of the 8th grade Common Core standards each day. I have these waiting on the students' desks when they come in, and after a set amount of time we go over the answers together, usually with sev

HOW TO PRINT: First thing you want to do is print it with the "print on short side" and "print double sided" settings. These may have different names depending on your printer. You should then have two pages, printed on both sides. Fold both "hamburg
