24 Geometry Vocabulary Quizzes
These 24 geometry vocabulary quizzes include all geometry terms, formulas, symbols, and drawings introduced throughout elementary and middle school. All quizzes contain 15-20 terms, with a word bank. Quizzes are designed so word bank can be eliminated if desired. Quizzes also include matching formulas, symbols and drawings. The final quiz covers 50 terms. Cumulative reviews are also included. Answer keys are included.

Percent Scavenger Hunt
This project requires students to locate 26 different items that use percents: commission, sales tax, percent of change, percents on products found in the home, to name a few. Supplemental, culminating, optional activities are given. Various methods of individualizing this project are also given so that project can be adjusted for student needs.

Teaching style
I prefer for students to work in pairs. Students have a warm up activity and a review of concepts taught in the unit so far, then are taught a lesson and work in pairs to solve the day's problems. Each student is responsible for a math notebook containing vocabulary, examples, formulas, drawings, definitions. Homework is typically a review and practice assignment to be completed within a couple of days. Students have my home phone number, and can receive tutoring before or after school.
