This trifold help sheet summarizes the key points that can be determined from a rational function to help create a graph. Terms include domain, vertical asymptote, horizontal asymptote, x intercepts, y intercept and holes are included with graphical examples of each and a practice problem. This is great for a a supplement to a direct instruction lesson and includes a quick formative assessment for after the lesson. The solution key is included. Print layout should be completed back to back.

This packet can be used to introduce the graphs of polar equations. Students use a calculator to determine the table of values entries and plot those polar coordinates on the grid provided. Using a graphing calculator, students enter the equations and then sketch other types of polar graphs.
