Before teaching students how to graph or plot points, they must understand key vocabulary! This worksheet is a great way to introduce concepts visually and reinforce key concepts. Students will practice shading and graphing inequalities on a coordinate plane. This is an introductory lesson in graphing inequalities on a coordinate plane to prepare them for solving systems of inequalities next. The assignment has students begin by determining which area to shade for six graphed inequalities on a coordinate plane. They then move on to graphing six inequalities, drawing the appropriate boundary line and shading the graphs to identify possible solutions.

Students will practice graphing systems of inequalities by graphing. There are two different assignments choices. The first two pages are used as an introduction practice for graphing systems of inequalities with all systems written in slope intercept form. The second page is a more advanced page where systems are written in slope intercept form and/or standard form. This resource is intended for students learning how to solve a system of equations using the method of substitution. The resource includes two differentiated assignments. The first includes equations with a variable already isolated and only answers with one solution. The second assignment includes equations in standard form where a variable needs to be isolated. Answers include one solution, one with a no solution and one with an infinitely many solutions as well as a real world application

Learn how to calculate different types of slopes from graphs and slopes. Students will learn and practice how to use rise over run and the change in y over the change in x.
