Experience

With over 20 years of experience teaching math in schools, I’ve spent the last 8 years working full-time as a private math tutor. Since 2016, I’ve been creating and sharing math resources on TPT, and I’m excited to help you meet your classroom’s math needs.

Teaching style

The laws of math are the same for everyone, making it a universal language that unites people and drives progress. My goal is to inspire as many children as possible to engage with and enjoy learning math. In 2006, I taught my first lesson using a PowerPoint presentation and SMART Board, and since then, I’ve known that technology is key to engaging students in 21st-century education. The biggest challenge in teaching is capturing and maintaining students’ attention. That’s why I dedicate a lot of time to creating engaging and innovative resources, including digital Mystery Pictures, mazes, logic puzzles, and cross-number puzzles. I’m the original creator of color-by-number activities on Google Slides, illustrated cross-number puzzles, and the first to implement a true drawing process into Mystery Pictures. My focus is on making math both fun and meaningful for students.

My own education history

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and a Master’s Degree in Education and Technology.

Additional biographical information
