Worksheet on polygons - sum of the interior angles, each interior angle, sum of the exterior angles and each exterior angle - including key. Could be used as notes to introduce the concept, a worksheet to practice, or as a review. Shapes are given so students can write the angle measures on each shape. Also includes big versions of each shape that are super helpful.
Learning about special quadrilaterals is tough! Make it easier for your students by giving them a physical cut out shape. I copy each shape on brightly colored paper and we write example numbers on one side and the rules on the back. A great manipulative!
Review sheet and quiz for matrices covering: -Naming a matrix -2x2 and 3x3 Identity matrices -Adding and Subtracting matrices -Multiplying matrices -Inverse of a 2x2 matrix -Determinant of a 2x2 and 3x3 matrix -Using matrices to solve 2x2 system -Using Cramer's Rule to solve a 3x3 system (Cramer's rule given)
Both blank and filled in Formula Sheets for Lateral Surface Area, Total Surface Area and Volume of a Prism, Cylinder, Pyramid, Cone and Sphere. Pictures of each shape are included. Also given are the area of a square/rectangle, triangle, Pythagorean Theorem, and circumference and area of a circle. Great to use as a review, or a formula quiz or as a test/quiz resource.
Review Sheet of 3 and 4 step simple triangle proofs using the Reflexive Property, Vertical Angle Theorem and CPCTC, including answer key, and a one sided quiz.
Complete mini unit on 3 and 4 step triangle proofs - great for an intro or for a concepts and skills Geometry class! Proofs #1 - 3 step proofs using the Reflexive Property or Vertical Angles Theorem. Notes, Homework, Answers, and a Short Quiz Proofs #2- 4 step proofs using CPCTC. Notes, Homework, Answers, and a Short Quiz Review - Review sheet with answers QUIZ A great stand alone unit that will take you through four days of material with no prep!
Completely editable worksheets that lead students through basic examples of measuring perimeter with a ruler, and using 1x1 squares to represent the area. All answers come out to "nice" numbers. Works great to copy the sheet of 1x1 tiles on bright colored cardstock and give students a zip lock bag of pieces to work with. Included shapes for area: Rectangle, Parallelogram. Triangle and Trapezoid
This activity is great for helping students see the connections between solving quadratic equations by factoring, graphing, completing the square and quadratic formula. Students solve the same equation all four ways. Works great to run on colored paper/cardstock and laminate so students can write their answers and check their work on the back. Lots of uses for this great activity!
Looking for ways to help your students with 45-45-90 and 30-60-90 rules? Copy these on cardstock - flip along the short edge - and four quick cuts and there you have it! Students have their own individual flashcard of the rules. Three versions of the rules are included!
Formula sheet for student reference of the following area formulas. Two verions - one with formulas filled in and one where students fill them in. Great as a review tool and to possibly allow student use on a test. Rectangle Parallelogram Triangle Trapezoid Rhombus Regular Polygon
Worksheet on long division and synthetic division geared towards an Algebra II course. Answer key included. Also includes bellwork for the following day/exit ticket.
Can be used as a "do now" quick check, as notes, or as homework - six circumference of a circle questions ranging from easy to a little more challenging. Completely editable.
This lesson plan on Matrices includes: -Finding the determinant of a 3x3 matrix by two methods -Using Cramer's Rule to use matrices to solve a 3x3 system Included are notes, an answer key to the notes, homework worksheet, answers, and a bellwork/warm up for the next day.
Included are a one page worksheet on summation notation with answer key and bellwork that has easier problems, and a two sided worksheet on summation notation with answer key and bellwork that has a bit harder problems. Works great to use over two days.
A quick easy matching activity for special segments in triangles. Copy each page on a different color, and cut apart the words and pictures. Students can match the definition, picture and names of centroid, orthocenter, incenter and circumcenter.
This lesson plan on Matrices includes: -Introduction to Matrices -Naming a matrix by rows and columns -Adding and subtracting matrices -Multiplying matrices -Determinant of a 2x2 matrix -Inverse of a 2x2 matrix Included are notes, an answer key to the notes, homework worksheet, answers, and a bellwork/warm up for the next day.
Included is a worksheet, answer key and bellwork on solving systems of equations with lines, circles, parabolas, ellipses, and hyperbolas. It begins with a review of linear systems and progresses. Students graph the systems on the front as well as solving algebraically and only solve the ones on the back by hand.
Simple, clear worksheets that address the angles of a parallelogram, rhombus, rectangle, square, trapezoid and isosceles trapezoid from the most basic to more complex. Really helps students see the patterns in the shape. Sheets are available individually in my TPT; these are the same files merged together.
Included is everything you need for a five day unit on matrices. Over three days, students will learn these concepts. There is a notes sheet, answer key, homework worksheet, answer key and bellwork for every day. -Naming a matrix -2x2 and 3x3 Identity matrices -Adding and Subtracting matrices -Multiplying matrices -Inverse of a 2x2 matrix -Determinant of a 2x2 and 3x3 matrix -Using matrices to solve 2x2 system -Using Cramer's Rule to solve a 3x3 system (Cramer's rule given) Also included is
