Tables and Sequences Review with Definitions

This is a review I made for my students who were studying tables of data, direct variation, and arithmetic sequences. I inserted a few definitions in there for them as well, so they had the definitions and examples all in one spot.

About the store

Experience

Over a decade of teaching, and I am loving it. I am trying to bring a modern spin to education.

Teaching style

I like to incorporate a lot of group work into my lessons. Individual work is used when I am assessing them. I also like to bring a lot of educational activities into the classroom as well. The more I can make math fun, the better.

My own education history

When I was in my high school economics class, my teacher told the class that there is always going to be a need for teachers, so I thought that I would try it out to see if I liked it because I knew that I already had a passion for math. In my senior year of high school, my school had a new class called "Teaching Internship." I learned that I loved teaching, but I knew that I wanted to teach high school. From there, I went to Concordia University Chicago and majored in Secondary Education Mathematics with an endorsement in Middle School Mathematics. Throughout college, I tutored and was a supplemental instructor. I student taught at Oak Park River Forest High School, and after student teaching, I long-term subbed there. Right after long-term subbing at OPRFHS, I taught summer school at my old high school, Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School. I also received a job offer to teach math during the school year, and this is where I am today. I worked as a math team coach, drama club sponsor, and robotics coach for a FIRST team. I started the eSports program at my school as well.
