Feed the Frog: Add & Subtract BUNDLE | K–2 Math | Fact Fluency FROM 5 TO 100

Are you like me and see it all the time: students can count, but fluency with addition and subtraction facts is uneven across K–2. Kindergarten students may still struggle to add/subtract within 5 or 10. First graders can add within 10 but freeze with missing numbers or combinations to 20. Second graders may know facts individually but struggle with fluency and fact families. Worksheets and flashcards don’t always stick—students need hands-on, visual practice that builds understanding, not

Five, Ten & Twenty-Frame Card Decks | Fluency Progression BUNDLE | Math Skills

As a math interventionist, one of the biggest challenges I see is that students can count, but they don’t see numbers as structured quantities. They might know numbers to 5, 10, or even 20, but when I watch them in small groups, they often count every dot, hesitate with combinations, and struggle with addition and subtraction. That’s why I created this Fluency Progression Bundle. It’s the complete system I use at my small-group table to build number sense, subitizing, and part–part–whole th

Grab and Go | Math Intervention Task Cards | Kindergarten

Have you screened your kids to see what math skills are missing, but struggling with what to do next? This is your answer! The planning is DONE for you. As a math interventionist, I’m constantly responding to student misconceptions in the moment—right at my small-group table. I don’t have time to dig through binders or Google “kindergarten math intervention” while students are sitting in front of me. That’s exactly why I created these Grab & Go Math Intervention Task Cards. They give me a com

Do you ever feel like no matter how many times you reteach numbers and counting, some students just don’t seem to “get it”? You know the ones—struggling to recognize numerals, count to 20, or add and subtract within 5. You want them to succeed, but worksheets and flashcards just aren’t enough. I get it. I’ve been there as a math interventionist. That’s why I created the Kindergarten Starter Pack—a hands-on, low-prep, skill-focused solution that helps students build true number fluency and co

Feed the Frog | Number Bonds Within 10 and 20 | Game/Center/Activity

You know the feeling… you teach addition, subtraction, and part-part-whole thinking, but some students still don’t “get it.” They can count, but when you ask them to split numbers or build number bonds, it’s like the concept just doesn’t click. I’ve been there. That’s why I created Feed the Frog: Number Bonds Game—a hands-on, playful math center that makes number bonds tangible, meaningful, and fun. Students feed the frog the parts that make the whole, build equations, and finally start seei

Feed the Frog | Add and Subtract Within 100 Game/Center/Activity

Do your students have gaps in two-digit addition and subtraction? This low prep skill based activity is your next step. Feed the Frog is a low-prep, skill-based math game designed to target exactly what your third grade math intervention screener revealed—regrouping, place value breakdowns, and procedural gaps that slow students down in Grade 3. Feed the Frog | Fluently Add and Subtract within 5 | Game/Center/Activity

Do your students struggle to recall basic addition and subtraction facts within 5? Do you find yourself spending precious small-group time repeatedly reteaching “1 + 3” or “5 − 2,” only to see them forget it the next day? You’re not alone. Early fact fluency is the foundation for everything that comes next in math—and without it, students stumble over word problems, story problems, and even simple addition in later grades. Feed the Frog: Fluency to 5 solves this problem. This low-prep, hands-

Feed the Frog: Crossing the Decade Number Mats | Counting Across Decades Math Ce

If your students can count, but freeze and guess when they get to a decade change like 29, 39, etc.....you’re not alone. This is one of the most common breakdowns in early number sense. Students don’t yet understand that the tens place changes, so they guess, hesitate, or avoid the transition altogether. I created these Feed the Frog Number Mats to give students repeated, hands-on practice crossing the decade in a way that actually sticks. Students don’t just see it—they: Say it Move it Re

Teen Number Game: Feed the Frog | Build Numbers 11–19 | Kindergarten Math Center

As a math interventionist, I see this every year: students can count to 20, but teen numbers are shaky. They say “one-teen”, mix up 13 and 30, or treat 14 as a random number instead of 10 + 4. The real issue is that many students don’t understand that teen numbers are built from a ten and some ones. Without that foundation, place value and addition become much harder later. You know students need this skill, but most of the available practice is worksheets or flashcards, which don’t always

Feed the Frog | Fluently Add and Subtract within 10 | Game/Center/Activity

As a math interventionist I see it every year, by first grade, many students can count and recognize numbers, but they struggle with true addition and subtraction fluency to 10. Students rely on fingers or guess when asked 6 + 3 or 9 − 2. They can count objects but struggle to see that “⚫⚫⚫⚫ + ⚫⚫” equals 6. Students can add 2 + 3 but don’t automatically know 5 − 2 = 3. Without fluency, mental math, part-part-whole reasoning, and problem-solving skills fall apart. Teachers end up spending hou
