With this foldable the students are to come up with what they think the definition is before they are given the exact definition. On the outside flap is the term. When flipped open on the flap is the space for the students' definition and the place for the exact definition. My document includes terms for Geometry, but it can be edited. There are also 2 completely term free pages at the end. Just print your document double sided and to flip on the short edge.

Just print double sided and fold and you've got a table of contents for your notebook. They need to be printed double sided flipped on the short edge. My page numbers go 2, 4, 6, 8 etc. Because my notebooks are organized right brain, left brain. The notes and information on the right (input) and the practice (output) on the left. So Page 2 and 3 will have the same topic and I don't want them to have to write it twice.

A fun way for students to practice the completing the square method of solving quadratics. They work in groups, add up their answers and then check their added answer with the teacher. Activity encourages students to help one another and is more engaging than another worksheet. I use add 'em up with the dry erase boards.
