This is a step by step guide to using the TI-Nspire. It is an older OS, however, all the steps are the same. It has screenshots to accompany each step. The table of contents will show all of the functionality of the Nspire. This calculator IS allowed on the SAT, and can help struggling students scaffold learning.
This is a quick flow chart for students to have a check point system to determine how to solve exponential functions. It includes screen shots of how to solve equations using the TI-84 Family of Calculators as well as the TI-Nspire family.
Tarsia puzzle is a jigsaw or domino activity form of puzzle that students have to solve. In a tarsia puzzle, each piece has a question or answer in it. As students match the pieces together correctly, answers to questions are revealed. This puzzle is geared as an extension activity for partners to work on. Student could either take a stack of cards and factor their own looking to match after, or one student can do the factoring and the other student can do the matching.
