Math Mastery - Make Math FUN

This engaging math activity teaches students how to count on and count back using a number line. Students will use a frog to choose a number on the smart board. Next they will roll the interactive dice. The student will then either choose to hop forwards or backwards on the number line. Students will then record using a number sentence. Check out the worksheet that goes along with this activity!

Use this "Give Me 5" story problem format to build number sense in your classroom. Edit the names to your own students' names to make it more fun. Change the story problem each day to make it slightly more challenging for you students.
