About the store
I've taught Mathematics for over 15 years, everything from 6th grade math to AP Calculus BC. I've helped to write Curriculum Guides and Scope and Sequence documents for 6th - 12th grades and college level classes, and implemented a high school mathematics Honors program for our high school. I have also taught math to adults at the college level: Remedial Math, College Algebra, Pre-calculus, Calculus, and Statistics. I love my adult students, too! For the last 5 years, I have worked at a school with a 1-1 program (MacBooks and iPads).

Algebra Lines and Equations Differentiated Activity (Choice Board)

Created by
Math Math Math
This is a differentiated activity on the Algebra topic of graphs and equations of lines. A Choice Board offers students choice and differentiation. Allow students to select any three in a row (or whatever you specify), but encourage them to select the problems that best challenge them, without being either too easy or too hard. Also, allow students to answer questions in their own way – many of the questions are open-ended and allow for students to interpret or have an opinion. An Answer Key

Teaching style

My teaching style incorporates a lot of classroom discussion, hands-on manipulatives and activities. My favorite classroom moments are when students are working in small groups discussing mathematical ideas, expressing their viewpoints and helping each other to learn.
