Experience

I have been teaching middle school math for 15 years working with different curriculums and Common Core Standards. I create activities that help foster positive thinking while practicing math.

Teaching style

It is so important for students to collaborate and engage with one another. I use a lot of Kagan Structures in the classroom as well as student reflection. Students are able to reflect on their own learning and explain their understanding to their classmates.
