Math Mirth

This product incorporates practicing several different math skills comprising of graphing coordinates as well as calculating midpoint, distance, and slope including parallel and perpendicular slopes. Students will start the activity by picking coordinates for 10 locations that will be incorporated in their town including police station, vet, bank, etc. After they pick their coordinates, the students will have to plot the locations on a Google Drawing's page. This activity is a set of 6 word problems where the students will have to set-up the equation, show the work to solve the equation, and give an answer. Students or groups will only do one problem at a time and then rotate papers as a class before moving on to the next problem. Students will have to check the work of the other groups before doing the next required problem. There is also a plain worksheet version of the activity if rotating stations is not desired.
