Hey, everybody! I started teaching in 2007 and mathematics is my passion. My beliefs about teaching and learning mathematics are directly in line with reform mathematics from the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Beth

Teaching style

Currently, I am a district mathematics coach. While in the classroom, I structured my lessons on task-based activities, mainly from the Georgia frameworks.

My own education history

When I started teaching, I was teaching in a special education fourth-grade class. From there I became gifted endorsed, math endorse, online teaching endorsed, earned my master’s in curriculum, my educational specialist degree in curriculum, and I am currently working on my doctorate in curriculum. I have taught 4th-grade math and ELA, 5th-grade math and ELA, 6th-grade math, 7th-grade math, 8th-grade math, coordinate algebra, and analytic geometry. As you can see, I am certified in elementary all areas, middle grades mathematics, and secondary mathematics.
