My classes have always loved reading the novel, The Castle in the Attic. This year, instead of giving them a test, I created these projects with guideline for my class to complete. They loved having the "freedom" to choose which projects were best for them. If they did more than I required, I gave extra points.
I hope you enjoy this project with your class.
Thanks! :)
This test was generated by me from the Stations of the Cross Study Guide that I also have on my page. I feel my students (and I) really know and understand the Stations of the Cross better after focusing on them for a test... Not just because we had to memorize them, but because we really thought about them.

I used this to help my students remember the definitions of the words from the novel, Loser, by Jerry Spinelli. I projected it on our whiteboard and printed it out in "handouts" for them to each have their own copy.
Enjoy!
Thanks :)
Use this review for your 5th grade students in Chapter 2 of "My Math" by McGraw-Hill. I created it as a Google slideshow, but had to save it as a PDF to upload it here.
Using this PowerPoint as a review or a lesson, students are given multiple choice answers to name the pictured state located in the East Region of the United States.
Students can raise their hands to share answers or record on paper for a grade.
My class loves reviewing this way for states and capitals tests!
Enjoy!

Get to know your parents and their expectations for their children with this simple survey. Feel free to add or change the questions, grade level, etc. for your class. Enjoy! :)
I used this project at the end of Unit 5, but it could easily be adapted to any other units or even other stories. The kids love this idea and have really come up with some creative items.
I hope you find this useful!
