These notes are based on a college-level algebra course. They represent the big ideas necessary for high students to enjoy success in their college mathematics studies. They are designed to be handed out to students. As the teacher “lectures” there are embedded discussions and questions for robust classroom conversation. They should be treated as a template for moving through important ideas and promoting an organic student-teacher experience.
