Experience

I have been teaching grades 1-6 in the resource room for four years. Currently, I teach 6th grade Inclusion and Resource Replacement.

Teaching style

I try to get my students working in stations and moving around the room as much as I can. I utilize "Math Daily 3" lessons in both 2nd and 3rd grade. I stick to more of an "I do, we do, you do" approach with my 6th grade class, but mostly "you do" as my students explore math techniques and strategies while I function as a mobile guide.

My own education history

I graduated from William Paterson University with a B.A. in Elementary Education. I also acquired a B.A. in Liberal Arts: English and History. My certifications include: Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TSD), Middle School History and Middle School English.
