This is a lesson introduction series for VEX IQ classes. Select which VEX IQ Game your students will be playingAssign the Game Analysis assignment and provide the game manual and game reveal video as resources for their researchAssign the Hero Bot Analysis assignment and have students analyze different pre-build robot options for strengths and needed adjustments to be able to successfully play the game.

This template is used to help students navigate the VEX IQ Game of the Season. It can be adapted for different uses as well. With this assignment, students are usually working in pairs. I provide the video link to the Game Reveal that gives a summary of the game as a whole, and provide a link to the game manual.

Let your students explore and research different Hero Bots from the VEX IQ Library. The template is automatically set up to explore the Stretch, Clutch, Flex, and Claw, but you can adjust for any robots you want them researching. Use this as a learning tool for analyzing different robots for the current year's game OR get creative with subwork assignments and allow them to apply their research to a former year's VEX IQ Game.
