How Many Ways Can You Get There?

This activity takes inspiration from an activity my own daughter did in school and a children's book, 12 Ways to Get to 11 by Eve Merriam. In this hands-on activity, students use number combinations to make each target number 4 different ways. Includes multiple grade level mats with increasingly larger numbers. Helps reinforce facts and number relationships. This activity also includes a URL to a digital version that uses slides. Students can use this version to interact with technology. Use it

About the store

Experience

We are Texas veteran educators with over 80 years of combined experience leading learning at all levels including middle and high school classrooms and administration at the campus, district, regional, and state levels. We believe learning starts when students can use their hands 🖐🏻 to explore content and deepens when they can process their learning with others in a variety of ways and discussions. This belief carries into our all our individual activity materials.

Teaching style

We are constructivist teachers and believe in using hands-on materials that incorporate visuals to help students to interact with content and with each other so they engage their communication skills while using auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learning methods.
