About the store
I began my teaching career as a fifth grade grammar, spelling, and writing teacher. While English had always been my least favorite subject in school, I found myself enjoying it greatly as a teacher. Since then I've had the opportunity to teach math and STEM in 5th/6th grade and have absolutely loved it! Teaching math and science is my dream job! Throughout the years, I've challenged myself to create new materials that engage and motivate my students and would love to share some of the snippets of learning that have been taking place in my classroom with you!

Teaching style

I love teaching in a way that promotes critical thinking through fun, hands-on activities that are applicable to real world scenarios. I also love incorporating Whole Brain Teaching and flipped classroom models into my math workshop and centers instruction in order to differentiate instruction for my students.

My own education history

Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education Middle School Science Certification Masters in Curriculum and Instruction

Additional biographical information

When I'm not prepping, teaching, or grading papers, I love to spend time with my family and dog, Ella. I also enjoy yoga, baking, gardening, Netflix marathons, and sitting down with a good book and a cup of coffee.
