This activity is a fun and engaging way to help students understand the steps they must follow to correctly solve a 1-step equation. This activity has students cut out and paste to match the correct first step, the inverse operation,the integer rule they would use to solve, and the correct solution. All equations have similar numbers and number combinations, so students must follow through the process to solve correctly. This is a great activity for students new
