Decimals, Compare, Place Value, Rounding, Prism, Number Line w/Fractions

This is another worksheet that involves some different review concepts that are sometimes forgotten. My students often struggle with decimals so I always typically review this each week. Comparing and ordering decimals can be intimidating so the more practice, the better attitude one has before seeing a question involving decimals on a statewide assessment. The attached file is 2 pages with a 2 page answer key for you to use as needed.

About the store

Experience

15 years upper elementary and junior high math. I don't teach just one concept a day, I teach all math concepts everyday. We add, subtract, multiply, and divide with whole numbers, decimals, and fractions starting from day 1 in my 5th grade classroom. My worksheets produce results!! Teaching style

Never let the brain stop working. Stimulating the brain is most important. Constant review is always spiraled in lessons everyday. I use these worksheets and Power Points daily and frequently pop quiz to hold students accountable. All students are always randomly called on to keep them honest and engaged 3-4 times per class when whole group instruction is used; independent work time and small group instruction to rep out math problems are critical to do each day. Students are expected to work as the expectations are set high; it can be a culture shock to start the year, but students show great growth.
