About the store
15 years upper elementary and junior high math. I don't teach just one concept a day, I teach all math concepts everyday. We add, subtract, multiply, and divide with whole numbers, decimals, and fractions starting from day 1 in my 5th grade classroom. My worksheets produce results!! Also, each one has an electronic ANSWER KEY to pass along to parents to help their child.

This is a 3 page packet with 27 questions very similar in format to the types of questions used on various statewide/national assessments. It is rigorous and designed to challenge some students to follow the directions on some types of problems using charts or graphs. This also has some various review sprinkled in throughout. I use these files for independent practice, homework, or small group activities.

Multiplying Dividing Fractions Mixed Packet with Answer Bank
I like to use this packet with kids when I have a "work day" in school so I can let those kids move at their own pace while I work with struggling students in a small group. If students can't find their answers on the back page it is because it is either not done correctly or their answer needs simplified. This really helps with student's when putting their answer in lowest terms/simplification.

Multiplying Dividing Fractions Mixed Numbers Worksheet
This is a worksheet that I use to either review fractions and mixed numbers with some of my advanced upper-elementary students OR this is what I use at the end of my unit before I test on multiplying/dividing fractions and mixed numbers. There are a few story problems too that students can either do with fractions or decimals. The answers are shown both ways on the answer key. Teaching style
Never let the brain stop working. Stimulating the brain is most important. Constant review is always spiraled in lessons everyday. I use these worksheets and Power Points daily and frequently pop quiz to hold students accountable. All students are always randomly called on to keep them honest and engaged 3-4 times per class when whole group instruction is used; independent work time and small group instruction to rep out math problems are critical to do each day. Students are expected to work as the expectations are set high; it can be a culture shock to start the year, but students show great growth.
