This a short presentation to introduce exponents, vocabulary and procedures. At the center of this presentation, students will compare and contrast the difference between repeated addition and repeated multiplication. For the compare and contrast portion of the presentation, students will have a bulleted notes sheet that correlates with the slides. This activity is best followed by rep practice to strengthen their exponent skills!

This google slides is a great way to introduce dividing fractions using the DSR (Drop, Swap, Reciprocal) method. The "Pros" of using this method is that academic vocabulary is increased by using the word "reciprocal" instead of "flip" or "change". Students will learn what a reciprocal and a multiplicative inverse is. This Slides with animations is best followed by drill practice.
