Experience

I have taught math for twelve years. I have a masters degree in curriculum and instruction as well as an endorsement in building leadership. I most often teach Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and AP Statistics, however I have also taught Geometry and remediation classes. I also teach adjunct workshops at Friends University in Wichita, Kansas.

Teaching style

My goal is always to allow students an opportunity to interact with the math concepts whether that be through cooperative learning activities, interactive notebooks, or games in the classroom. I used a flipped classroom style in my Algebra 2 classes which gives me the opportunity to use many differentiated student centered strategies in the classroom.
