About the store

Experience

I have been teaching for 5 years, and Department Chair for the last two years for my current school Mary McDowell Friends School. All my teaching experience has been with Learning Disabled students. The LDs can range from socio-emotional to dyslexia, and dyscalculia.

Teaching style

I like to use the Socratic method when introducing new topics to students. This question-based approach can be seen in my posted lessons. I find that this method helps students grasp the reasoning as to why they are learning a certain piece of mathematical content.
