Teaching style

Teacher as facilitator: I tend to focus a lot of attention on allowing my students to be involved in their learning process as much as possible. I want them to be active participants in their own education process to better prepare them for their adult lives outside the classroom. I give options when it comes to choosing how we learn in class whether it be an independent lesson or a teacher directed lesson. Students benefit from a democratic society where they have a say in what happens in the classroom. Their opinions are valued and respected.
