LEAP DAY ACTIVITY - February 29SWBAT... Use their knowledge of conversions to show why we need a LEAP DAY every 4 years. Use their critical reasoning skills to show why there are exceptions (i.e. no leap day on years divisible by 100 and not divisible by 400) Students will be introduced to the reasoning behind the LEAP DAY. Students will experiment with conversions between days, hours, minutes, and seconds to show why a LEAP DAY is every 4 years. We have LEAP DAYS to keep the seasons in
