Transformations of Parent Functions Google Form
This google form has 15 questions requiring students to identify what function family the function belongs to and has students select the equations that represents the given transformations. The included functions are linear, quadratic, cubic, square root, and absolute value. This would be a great homework assignment, quiz, or practice at the beginning of the unit. My own education history
I graduated with my B.S. from the University of Kentucky (go cats!) in 2019 and am currently working on getting my Master in Education from Miami University.
Additional biographical information
I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. I was in Lexington for four years while attending the University of Kentucky for undergrad and moved back to the Cincinnati area to teach. Working in education is my calling. There is little I love more than when you see the light bulb go off with students! I hope my resources can help you provide those moments for your students too.
