In this scavenger hunt students will practice adding and subtracting positive and negative mixed numbers. Students will start at any of the 12 problems, solve, and then find their answer on the top of another sheet somewhere around the room. This is a great self-checking activity.

Covers: discounts, tax, tip, markups, and simple interest. Simply stated questions to help students focus on the skill and not dissecting a word problem. Have students start at any question and record the letter they start at. After they get an answer, they should find it on the top of another page and answer that new question.
