About the store
Hello and welcome to my page! I have been teaching 5th grade for eight years. I taught six years of 5th grade teaching all subjects in an elementary school, but now I teach 5th grade math in a middle school. I am super passionate about creating ways to make 5th grade content easier for students, while still keeping the standards high. That's why I started creating templates for my students to use and follow along with for each standard. I noticed that with the graphic organizers, all of my students were successful working independently, even my students that were at a 2nd grade level or below. I hope these templates are able to help you feel this same success!

Converting Mixed Numbers to Improper Fractions Workmat
This product provides a work mat for converting mixed numbers to improper fractions. I project the mat on the board and they place printed work mats in pocket charts to follow along with dry erase markers.

This graphic organizer helps students simplify fractions by taking them step-by-step through the process of simplifying fractions using a greatest common factor. I project this on the board while students have a copy in a pocket chart. They use dry erase markers to solve problems with simplifying.
