1-4 Player self-checking game. There are fifteen questions, five one-step equations each with whole numbers, decimals, and fractions. All four operations are represented. The game checks the answers, keeps score, assigns the student's game piece to the questions answered correctly, prevents more than one student from answering the same question, and awards a medal to whichever student is in the lead. Ideal for breakout rooms. Should inspire students to participate in order to receive credit.
Transformation mini-project. Students draw and then reflect one of their initials, beginning in the second quadrant.
Includes an I CAN statement and a grading rubric. Both graphical and algebraic reflection is included.
I am working on cleaning up variations for the other transformations to make this a bundle if this seems useful to others. The kids love it - since they do always like things better when they are about them.
Feedback is greatly appreciated.
