Welcome to Math Amante! The name is a play on my last name and my love for math, teaching, and supporting fellow teachers. I’ve been an educator since 2001 and have taught everything from 7th grade math to Math for College Readiness. I love helping students discover they can learn and succeed when we find what works best for them. My goal is to create meaningful, accessible resources that save teachers time and help students build confidence.

Teaching style

My teaching style is centered on listening to students, learning who they are, and using that understanding to customize their learning experiences. I believe strong relationships help create a classroom where students feel supported, challenged, and confident. I use a blend of direct instruction, collaborative group work, and vertical boards to encourage active thinking, communication, and problem-solving. My goal is to meet students where they are while helping them grow as independent, capable learners.
