Included are vocabulary cards I created for my vocabulary word wall while teaching 3rd grade math in Texas. Each card contains a Math vocabulary word, the definition of the word as well as an illustration to support it. I spent a whole summer creating it, and I want to share. The files are listed as PDF for ease of printing, as well as the original PowerPoint for ease of editing.

When teaching my 7th graders probability, I was surprised to find that many did not know what types of cards where in a standard deck of playing cards. So I created this insert for their journals as a reference.
The inserts can be printed in color or black and white. There are three files within the zip file. They include a full page copy for ease of projection, 2 per page copy and 4 per page copy for the students' journals. This gives you the freedom to decide how large you want their journal

Have your students explore how Math is related to the thing they are most passionate about. Students select their Passion (video games, football, volleyball, reading, etc.), then research how Math is used in that passion. Use it as an in class activity or as a research project. Students can create project boards or use Google Slides to create their presentations.

I HAVE, WHO HAS Simple Addition Game
Have students work as a class to solve a round robin type game. Simple addition that requires no regrouping.
Print these pages on card stock, laminate if desired, and cut out the cards.

My students compete in FIRST Lego League Robotics Competition. After the season, we use this as a project in the classroom. I am able to use it as 4 daily grades as well as a test grade. This activity usually takes my students 2-4 weeks to complete. This activity is used as a culminating activity for assessing student understanding of building and programming robots.
