After going through multiple rounds of NWEA testing (or everyday teaching in general...) I've noticed that often times students get confused on a test problem because they forgot basic math vocabulary. In an effort to combat this issue, I assign 7 weekly remedial vocabulary words, taken from the NWEA Vocab list. Some words reach back to 3rd grade and up to 8th grade.
