There are some great free virtual tools on the web that can be used by students to practice skills and by teachers to explain different concepts. Decimal Escape can be played as a single-player or multiplayer game. The goal is to land on three equivalent tiles to escape the rooms. The tiles help the students to visually match the equivalent decimals and decimal fractions so that they practice and understand. It gives teachers and parents an opportunity to explain, clear misconceptions, and even do a little assessment. Google slides version and printable version included. These simple games can be played as multiplayer games or single-player games. The players practice one table at a time by trying to get as many multiples as they can before they run out.
