Teams work together to solve equations. It forces students to work the equations one step at a time and teaches them to check each others work.

Each team receives a game card. (You could make multiple copies of the same one or give each team different ones.) The first team member answers the first expression. The second member checks the first answer and then fills that answer in the blank in order to solve the second expression. The team continues passing it around until they have the final answer. The first team with the correct final answer is the winner.
