Students play the card game of War with cards that require them to add, subtract, multiply and divide signed numbers. Most calculations involve two numbers, but some involve three.

Order of Operations Diamond Puzzle
Students cut apart triangles and then match the sides to form a diamond. Students match an expression using the numbers 2, 3, 4 and 5 with varied configurations (including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, signed numbers, raising to a power and involving parenthesis) to the correct answer using the order of operations. All answers involve whole numbers.
