I am currently in my 7th year of teaching high school mathematics. I teach at an all ESE school for behavior challenges. Being the only high school math teacher, I teach Algebra 1 through Statistics. Before teaching full time, I was a tutor at my undergraduate college and taught GRE prep classes.

Experience
I am currently in my 7th year of teaching high school mathematics. I teach at an all ESE school for behavior challenges. Being the only high school math teacher, I teach Algebra 1 through Statistics. Before teaching full time, I was a tutor at my undergraduate college and taught GRE prep classes.
Teaching style
I prefer to step back and let the students learn rather than assisting them every step of the way. If they are able to feel confident in their abilities, they will be more likely to enjoy what they are doing. I also encourage a lot of partner and group work so that I can hear their thinking.
