My students absolutely loved doing this project!! It allowed them to be extremely creative with their quadratic love stories as well as creating a selfie with a quadratic function.
Let me know what your students think :)
Here is a similar figures packet I put together for my students for our unit on scale drawings and similar figures. It is broken down by lesson titles and each lesson follows by a mini-lesson, a classwork handout and then a hw assignment.
The file is a doc file for you to edit to meet your student needs.
Let me know if this was useful for you and your students.

Remember in Alice and Wonderland where Alice has to reduce her size to be able to fit through the door? Well, what a perfect way to introduce scale drawings and similar figures. Here is a PPT that you can use for your lessons on scale drawings and similar figures to be able to introduce it a fun and innovative way. You may modify the PPT to fit your student needs.
Let me know if there is anything I can add or change.
Thanks.
