Probability Trees Explained
Using probability tree diagrams to teach probability is helpful - but sometimes kids (and grownups) need a little help with them.
This "cheat sheet" has 5 pages of detailed (and easy to understand) explanations on how to calculate the various probabilities - including conditional probabilities.
Once students understand how probability trees work, they can effectively use them as tools.

Experience
I have over 25 years in teaching and tutoring math - 17 years of which have been in the classroom. I'm currently teaching math at a private special education school to students ages 12-20 and developmental level 2nd grade - 12th grade.
Teaching style
Having struggled through strange and interesting bits of math myself, and having tutored my best friends in math through high school and college, I have a teaching style that works very well with students who are less than confident in their abilities. What I've always told them is this: "I'm not better in math than you are, I'm just more confident."
